The Helix PD runs a 6:1 gear ratio precision-matched to a 14 x 17 two-bladed fixed pitch prop, a combination tuned specifically for efficient all-day cruising with minimal effort. You cover more water, arrive fresher, and keep both hands on the rod while you do it. The system is designed to complement Wilderness Systems’ S.M.A.R.T. hull designs, and is compatible with the Recon and Radar model families for a fully integrated performance setup.

One of the standout features is the three-position deployment system. Fully deployed for maximum speed, a spring-loaded kick pedal brings the unit to zero draft for shallow water and obstacles, and a third fully stowed position tucks the drive forward and completely out of the way when you need a clean deck. That auto-raising mast mechanism is a genuine convenience on Canadian lakes and rivers where depths and bottom conditions change quickly. Steering options include a rudder kit, steering kit, and noise reduction baffles, giving you flexibility in how you set up directional control on your specific hull.
